OneCast v3.1 Released for iOS, macOS, and Apple TV

OneCast v3.1 brings improved internet play, better controller support, iPhone haptics, and numerous fixes.

We’re excited to announce the release of OneCast v3.1, now available across iOS, macOS, and Apple TV. This update builds on the foundation of v3.0 with meaningful refinements, improved compatibility, and new customization options—further solidifying OneCast as the premier native Xbox streaming experience on Apple devices.

What’s New

  • Better Internet Play Setup — We’ve significantly improved the reliability of the “Configure for internet play” feature. If you had trouble getting this working before, now is a great time to try again!
  • Fixed Input Issues — We’ve resolved control issues with certain games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, Minecraft Dungeons, and Minecraft Legends.
  • Mouse Pointer Lock on iPad (iOS only) — Proper pointer locking is now supported on iPad—essential for immersive gameplay using a mouse.
  • Enhanced Controller Support (iOS only) — We’ve fine-tuned compatibility with popular form-fitting controllers like Backbone and GameSir.
  • iPhone Haptics Support (iOS only) — We’ve added support for vibrations using the iPhone’s built-in haptic engine—separate from game controller rumble. This is especially useful when using form-fitting controllers that don’t have their own haptics such as the Backbone.
  • Rumble Intensity Control — You can now adjust controller rumble strength to suit your preference—across all supported platforms.
  • Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements — We’ve resolved a wide range of issues under the hood to ensure a more reliable, responsive experience.
